Representing Cameroon
Age: 25

Representing Cameroon and Africa is a cause really close to my heart. I was born in Cameroon and raised in France. Growing up in a country where black/african people are not featured in art, Media as they should be I am really proud to make things change and move forward by taking part of this competition here in UK. Africa is rich of so many discovered and undiscovered talented people: Art: Iman, Alek Wek, Myriam Makeba Business: Mr and mrs Patrice Tlhopane Motsepe Politics: Nelson Mandela, Barack Obama These are people as a young african woman I look up to. Promoting Africa and drawing a positive attention on the continent is really important. The future of Africa belongs to african people. If we want things to change it will be possible only with our hard work. Being an ambassador: Because Fashion for Africa is more than a pretty face. Being able to represent the qualities of African woman in different fields such as fashion, charity and business would be a true honour. To me An African woman can be described as intelligent, confident, respectful and gracious person (no matter her age, size or fortune). My mum is a true inspiration to me because she manages to be strong and full of wisdom whatever the situation is. Theses are the qualities of an African woman and theses should be the qualities of the next face of F4A.
